Post Tour/Reunion
We've managed to travel in time from July, to January! Our tour group has been keeping up with each other via a Facebook group that we created just before the end of our tour. We've been sharing pictures, jokes, other trips, etc on there...a lot of fun!
Many of our fellow tour members were ready to head to the Tour Alumni Reunion in Edmonds Washington. We had gone the year before and it's a fun event, so we were up for it again! We arrived a day early in to SEATAC airport and, like usual, hit the road to see what we were supposed to see in Seattle!
First up was the Pike Place market, they throw fish here, how cool is that? Across the street is the very first Starbucks location, so we can scratch that off of our list as well!
Nicole is a big seafood lover, so she was eager to try some authentic Pacific seafood right there at the market. Even as not much of a seafood person, I admit, it was GOOD!

Next up was the tour reunion in Edmonds! We arrived a little early to make sure we had time to go through the travel store, and sit in on some of the travel talks before our group was to meet up. Sure enough, our group won gUMMy bears [as Rick says it] for having the most tour members in attendance!
As long as we can, we will try to make these reunions after each tour we attend, it is so much fun to meet up with the group one more time! Katka brought some special friends all the way from Prague to play music for us and they were fantastic!
Over the summer, Nicole and I attended "Czechfest" in West, Texas. There is a very large Czech community there that throws a festival to celebrate it's heritage. At that festival, we found a "Czech Texan" shirt and picked it up for Katka, in order to make her an honorary Texan! She sent us a picture of her wearing it over 5,000 miles away! GO Katka! :)

Group Facebook Page!
Our tour members and us have really been enjoying the group Facebook page that was created just before the end of our tour. It was completely voluntary for members to join or give their information, but we have been using it pretty frequently! Keep it in mind, you will want to keep up with your tour group friends!!
